What Farm2Chef does
Farm2Chef, a Travel Villa Kitchen program (VK Capital Ventures Inc), coordinates between farms, chefs, and buyers: demo bookings, the Community Protein Pool, and farm orders through HarvestPilot. We handle the roster, the matching, the order record, and the coordination in between. Farms fulfil their own products; chefs provide their own services.
Listings and consent
Chef and farm profiles appear on Farm2Chef only with their owner's recorded consent, and can be removed at the owner's request at any time. A listing is information, not a guarantee of availability — every booking and order is confirmed by a person before it is final.
Orders and the Protein Pool
Orders placed in your own words are parsed into structured line items and shown back to you for confirmation before anything is final; farms confirm their part before fulfilment. Protein Pool households are grouped by area; when a pool forms (typically 15–20 households), the pool's combined order goes to its rancher. Platform fees, where they apply, are stated on the relevant page before you commit — for HarvestPilot orders, a 15% platform fee is built into the order.
Delivery
Our farm partners typically deliver within a 25–50 mile radius; pickup and meet-points are coordinated per order. Delivery details are confirmed with your order — nothing here promises a specific time or date until a person confirms it.
